We are glad to offer you a 50+ page Yearbook highlighting the year and our HCS Students. This book was created by a couple high school students, a parent, and a staff member.

The book includes all class and individual photos as well as memory-filled pages.

School Spirit Week

March 30 - April 2

We are excited to celebrate Spirit Week before we head into Spring Break! Students are invited to participate in the following themed days:

Monday, March 30 – Mindset Monday: Career Day
Dream big! What career inspires you?

Tuesday, March 31 – Throwback Tuesday: Decades Day
Choose your favorite decade and dress the part!

Wednesday, April 1 – Wacky Wednesday: Crazy Hair Day
Fool us with your most creative hairdo.

Thursday, April 2 – Therapeutic Thursday: Sweats Day
Take a load off and dress in comfy sweats as we spring into break!

 
Participation is optional, but we encourage it!
Uniforms are not required if participating, otherwise, please come in standard dress code.  Students need to wear tennis shoes for PE, but otherwise the PE uniform is not required this week.


We are looking forward to a fun week!

Hanging Flower Baskets

Just in time for Mother’s Day, one of our beloved fundraisers is here! Our Hanging Flower Basket Fundraiser is now open!
Proceeds benefit Hermiston Christian School.

For $40, you can order a 12” mixed-flower hanging basket.


Order by March 26. Flowers will be delivered to the school on May 7th (in time for Mother’s Day which is May 10th!).

We’ve partnered with I55, who offer prescreened inventory and generously give back 40% of sales in Book Bucks to the school. This fundraiser supports our school library. Thank you!

This certainly blessed sooo many families in our community this Christmas❤️??

We wanted to be sure to share and say THANK YOU for your Stuff the Bus donations before Christmas break!

✨1st place - 1st Grade with 821 Items
✨2nd place - PreK with 585 Items
✨3rd place - 2nd/3rd Grade with 419 Items

When we delivered the bus, they were blown away. Thanks for ALL your help!

Over 2 weeks, HCS students are collecting non-perishable food items to help local families in need through Hermiston Police Department’s Christmas Express.


Please bring boxed or canned non-perishable food items to your classroom (no glass containers, please). Pastor Dale will pick up items from each classroom daily and we will “Stuff the Bus” with as many items as possible! At the end of our collection, the bus will be driven to the Christmas Express drop-off location.

Again this year, we are holding a Class Competition. The class that brings the most will get a special treat party in January with Pastor Dale!

We are so excited to help our community in this way and hope you will join us in stuffing our school bus!
