Penny War!
Jan.19-22, 2026
The RESULTS are in!
Drum roll, please…
Total raised: $2,253.89
Remember our point-value system where pennies & bills were worth positive points, and silver coins were negative. There were lots of strategizing efforts in the hallways, as students teamed together to raise or lower classes’ scores.
The WINNER of the Penny War:
HIGH SCHOOL with a total point value of +10,559
Kindergarten came in with a close 2nd place, holding a point value of +8, 746
Who got sabotaged the most???
Middle School with a negative at -22,023
4th & 5th Grade class trailed close behind with -17,247
You are fantastic! What a fun week and fundraiser!
Proceeds go to an outdoor gaga ball pit! Our goal is to get it ready by this spring.
One student from the winning class (high school) was chosen to put a pie in Mrs. Hardin’s face at lunch on Monday!
