VOLUNTEERING TIME & TALENT
To keep our tuition costs manageable and to involve families in delivering a Christian education, we require each family to volunteer at least 20 hours per year for a family with K-12 students, and 10 hours for half-day (Preschool) families.
Alternative way to support: $300/full time or $150/part time. Will be included on your June billing. (Calculated in increments of 10 hours.)
Following is a list of areas where we need parent volunteers. This is not a comprehensive list, so please contact us to volunteer or to let us know how we can best utilize your talents.

- Coach: basketball, volleyball, tennis, or flag football
- P.E. instructors
- Maintenance: painting, carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, irrigation, mowing, etc.
- Clean: summer break or during the school year
- Bus drivers
- Organize special occasions
- Plan and supervise field trips
- Parent-Teacher Organization
- Office skills (filing, record-keeping, etc.)
- Supervise students during lunch break
- Tutor students
- Help with Scripture memorization
- Listen to a student read
- Help students memorize math facts
- Coordinate Pizza Thursdays
- Auction (volunteer or oversee fundraiser)
- Yearbook
- Boxtops for Education coordinator
- Special Skills: Spanish, photography, academics, music, arts, crafts, speech/drama, athletics

HCS has a BottleDrop Give Account! Fill a Blue BottleDrop bag with your empty cans/bottles, drop it off at a BottleDrop location, and the funds go back to the school!
